Meredith Almy Brower, a native of Tiverton, Rhode Island, was inspired by her idyllic seaside environment to explore
photography during her freshman year of high school. An opportunity to learn the basics of Black and White photography
was Merediths introduction into the world of artistic possibilities afforded through the lense. Bitten by the photography bug,
Meredith chose to pursue a career in this field by attaining a BFA in photography at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.

In recent years, Meredith’s pursuit of photography has lead her to the joyous occasion of weddings, family portraiture and High School
seniors. Creating fun and beautiful images is important to Meredith, as well as building close relationships with her clients.

As member of the Professional Photographers of Rhode Island, New England and America, Meredith continues to learn through
schooling at the New England Institute of Professional Photography as well as continued seminars and classes.
In 2006, Meredith’s “Frosty Latch” print was accepted into the Professional Photographers of America 2006 Loan Collection,
which travels throughout the country.

In June of 2007, Meredith  joined the A. Sherman Publishing team in Newport, Rhode Island. She has enjoyed her time in  Newport
as a designer,  freelance photographer and illustrator. Meredith works in part with the Newport Daily Newspaper, The Mercury

Magazine and The Newport Life Magazine.
